WHY WE’RE HERE
Remember back to your own childhood. Can you recall the times you were afraid, or terribly sad and alone?
Now, think about your teenage years: the insecurities, feelings of not fitting in, the need for acceptance and the general pains of growing up.
Many children struggle through these difficult periods without family or friendship resources to count on. The decisions they make during these formative years impact them for the rest of their lives. Fairfax Medical Facilities wants to be there to assist these children through the tough times of childhood and adolescence.

Our Behavioral Health Services are offered through several Osage and Kay County school systems. Our services are provided only with the consent of the parents or legal guardians and are provided with the utmost concern for confidentiality..
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to help children be successful at conquering their interpersonal difficulties, and improve their ability to learn at school. With this in mind, Fairfax Medical Facilities licensed clinicians will see the children in the school, working with teachers and counselors to minimize the time out of the classroom.
HELP FOR PARENTS
Parenting is one of the most difficult jobs, and there are no real training programs that prepare anyone for it. We are here to help parents with their concerns, and offer assistance with developing the skills they may need.
PAYMENT
Fairfax Medical Facilities accepts most health insurance and Medicaid. If you do not have health insurance, your fees for services are based on a sliding scale. We want everyone that needs services to be able to receive them, and a lack of money will never be a reason not to receive services.
